Elite UK Martial Arts Association promotes excellence in martial arts, fostering discipline, strength, and community across North East England, From beginners to masters, we inspire growth, offer top-tier training, and build resilience on and off the mat
The 4th of Elite UK Martial Arts’ 4 katas. Required from 2nd Dan Black belt. ![]()
Kata 4 takes from a more traditional style of karate, focusing on the flow of techniques and the pauses between them. ![]()
Some key factors to perfecting your kata include a slower speed (about 3/4 of your maximum), but still using full effort; this ensures the individual techniques are distinguished and not rushed.![]()
Many of these manoeuvres and combos are learned or tweaked from the norm specifically for this kata, so a great importance is placed on the flow and accuracy of these.
🥋 CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY 🥋![]()
It's not the training you do occasionally — it's the training you do consistently that transforms you.![]()
Every session on the mats reinforces the techniques you've learned, sharpens the discipline that carries into everyday life, and builds the strength and flexibility your body needs to perform at its best. Skip a week and you feel it. Show up week after week, and you build something that lasts.![]()
Your progress isn't made in one big leap — it's made in the small, repeated efforts that stack up over time. Keep showing up, keep pushing, keep reinforcing the fundamentals.![]()
Train hard. Live Elite. 💪
At Elite UK Martial Arts, self-defence is about so much more than fighting.![]()
Our goal isn’t to teach people how to win a fight—it’s to teach them how to avoid one whenever possible. We help our students build the confidence to recognise danger, stay calm under pressure, make smart decisions and if there is absolutely no other option, protect themselves safely and effectively.![]()
These are life skills that benefit children and adults both on and off the mats. ![]()
We believe that true martial artists show respect, self-control and kindness. Strength isn’t about proving you’re the toughest person in the room—it’s about having the confidence and discipline to choose the right response.![]()
At Elite UK Martial Arts, we’re not just teaching punches and kicks. We’re helping build confident, respectful and resilient people who are prepared for whatever life throws at them.![]()
Train hard. Live elite
